I have acquired a large number of very interesting things…
Patrons will have a first sneak peak as I test these, and many main channel videos to come I think
@ActionRetro you are definitely keeping up with the Commodore. but the question is, is the Commodore keeping up with you?
@ActionRetro C1581 and C128D, those are on my wish I owned list, and I bet a bunch of other people’s as well.
Looking forward to you doing something cool with them!
@breadbin @ActionRetro got my long wished for 128D this year. But haven’t been prepared to stump up for the 1581 prices.
@ActionRetro I have a saved search for a 1581 to go with my 128D, but the prices are eye-watering.
It looks like someone is having the best Christmas 1987/88 ever.
@ActionRetro I wonder - can you run Haiku on an Amiga 500 if it has a PowerPC accelerator in it?
I’m going to call the C128 as a definite NOPE right now though
@thejpster @ActionRetro oh shit I missed the 1581 box. Son of …
@ActionRetro Oh boy, it's time for some Totally Normal Commodore Computing!
@ActionRetro The first Apple /// to run a Haiku terminal session
@ActionRetro Good old times. Started with C64, followed by a C128 and an Amiga 1000. Wish I had the C64 and C128 somewhere in my possession.
It's pretty awesome that people still hold onto the boxes after all these years. Looks like they are in pretty good condition, no water damage
